These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ShortmakerCS, including the ShortmakerCS desktop application, website, downloads, licensing, support channels, and related services (together, the “Service”).
By downloading, installing, purchasing, activating, or using ShortmakerCS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Early Access Software
ShortmakerCS may be offered as Early Access software. This means that features may change, bugs may occur, and some tools may still be experimental. Early Access is provided to collect feedback, improve stability, and prepare the software for a wider release.
You understand that Early Access software may not work perfectly on every system, hardware configuration, media file, or workflow.
2. What ShortmakerCS Does
ShortmakerCS is a desktop tool for creating, editing, rendering, and preparing short-form videos. Depending on your configuration, it may help with story-based video creation, image or video source workflows, narration, effects, rendering, and publishing support.
ShortmakerCS does not guarantee views, income, viral performance, channel growth, or platform approval.
3. License, Trial, and Activation
ShortmakerCS may be provided through trial access, temporary licenses, paid licenses, or Early Access license keys. License terms such as duration, feature availability, grace periods, and activation rules may depend on the license you receive.
You may not share, resell, sublicense, publish, or attempt to bypass ShortmakerCS license keys or activation mechanisms. We may suspend or revoke access if a license is obtained fraudulently, abused, shared publicly, or used in violation of these Terms.
4. Payments and Refunds
Paid access may be sold through third-party payment providers such as PayPal or other checkout services. Payment processing is handled by the relevant payment provider and may be subject to its own terms.
Refunds, if applicable, are handled according to the purchase conditions shown at the time of purchase and applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
5. Your Content and Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you import, generate, edit, render, upload, or publish using ShortmakerCS. This includes images, videos, audio, scripts, narration, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and metadata.
You must ensure that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and licenses for all content you use. You are also responsible for complying with copyright law, platform rules, advertising rules, and all applicable laws.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use ShortmakerCS to:
- create, upload, or distribute illegal content;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties;
- harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or harm others;
- spread malware, phishing, scams, spam, or deceptive content;
- attempt to reverse engineer, bypass, crack, or interfere with the software or license system;
- misrepresent ShortmakerCS as an official product of YouTube, Google, ElevenLabs, Discord, or any other third party.
7. Third-Party Services
ShortmakerCS may integrate with or link to third-party services, including but not limited to YouTube, Google, ElevenLabs, Discord, FFmpeg, yt-dlp, and other tools or platforms. These third-party services are not controlled by ShortmakerCS and may have their own terms, privacy policies, limits, quotas, availability, and fees.
ShortmakerCS is not responsible for outages, account restrictions, API changes, pricing changes, moderation decisions, upload failures, or policy decisions made by third-party services.
8. YouTube and Google API Usage
If you connect a YouTube or Google account, ShortmakerCS uses Google/YouTube OAuth only for the actions required by the app, such as connecting your own YouTube channel and uploading videos that you explicitly choose to publish.
ShortmakerCS does not upload videos to YouTube without your action. You remain responsible for the videos, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and metadata you choose to upload.
By using YouTube-related features, you also agree to comply with YouTube’s Terms of Service, YouTube API Services Terms of Service, Google API Services User Data Policy, and all applicable YouTube and Google policies.

9. ElevenLabs and Narration
ShortmakerCS may allow you to use ElevenLabs or your own audio for narration. If you use ElevenLabs, you are responsible for your ElevenLabs account, API key, usage limits, voice settings, and compliance with ElevenLabs’ own terms and policies.
ShortmakerCS does not provide ElevenLabs credits and does not control ElevenLabs pricing, availability, account restrictions, or generated output.
10. Support, Diagnostics, and Reports
ShortmakerCS may allow you to create a support bundle or diagnostic report to help fix bugs. Support bundles are intended to include technical information such as toolchain status, application logs, settings flags, render diagnostics, and hardware capability information.
Support bundles are designed not to include your private media files, OAuth secrets, API keys, license tokens, or script text. You should still review any file before sending it through email, Discord, or another support channel.
11. Updates and Changes
ShortmakerCS may receive updates, fixes, feature changes, removals, or compatibility improvements. Some features may be experimental, renamed, disabled, or removed during Early Access.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the ShortmakerCS website with a new effective date.
12. Intellectual Property
ShortmakerCS, including its software, UI, branding, logos, design, documentation, and related materials, is owned by its provider or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ShortmakerCS according to these Terms and your applicable license. You do not receive ownership of the software.
13. Availability and No Warranty
ShortmakerCS is provided “as is” and “as available,” especially during Early Access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, successful uploads, successful rendering for every file, platform approval, or any specific commercial result.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms are excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShortmakerCS and its provider are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, channel restrictions, failed uploads, or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not allowed by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory consumer protection rights.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to ShortmakerCS if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, attempt to bypass licensing, use the software for prohibited purposes, or create legal or security risks.
You may stop using ShortmakerCS at any time. You can also disconnect third-party accounts, such as Google/YouTube, through the app if available or through your third-party account settings.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.
